I have nothing against the theatre, it is beautiful. I just want to let everyone know DO NOT PURCHASE THE STARLIGHT LOUNGE EXPERIENCE. It is not worth the $40 they charge per person. I went to Hamilton with 3 friends of mine and we bought tickets to enter the lounge when we got ordered our Hamilton tickets. In total that was a $120 for four, just to enter the Starlight Lounge. We each received one ticket for a free soda, beer or house wine. We couldn't even get any mixed drink with the ticket. The snack food they had were chips, salsa, cold bacon and brownies. We had to ask for plates. We also had to wait to get into the lounge because the person checking the tickets were selling tickets to another guest to get into the lounge. With the $40 I could have bought drinks I wanted and edible snacks at the bar. I did message The Majestic around 2 weeks ago. I waited to write this review just incase they responded, they never did. So I write this review to warn my fellow theatre lovers.

This place is right up there with the Fabulous Fox in Atlanta in quality, IMO, and we loved the Fox. We always enjoy going there. We bought Hamilton seats at the end of the run and had what I expected would be marginal seats, at best. They were perfectly fine and were definitely the "worst" seats we've ever had there, so now we know.

They don't make theatres like this anymore! I remember coming here as a child to see Riders in the Sky perform and being just in awe of the ambiance. The decor is beautiful and harkens back to a time when the venue was just as much a part of the experience as the show. Highly recommend the mezzanine level for seating. Orchestra level is really only better if you are in the first couple of rows.

Can't help it but to give it five stars I work here! You'll be surprised how many people don't realize that this beautiful building is still active and thriving in the industry. Broadway musicals, concerts and other venue amenity uses.

This theater is magical! Seeing Hamilton there felt surreal because the surrounding stage added so much to the experience of watching the show. The decor makes being there feel like you have stepped back to a more elegant time. Grateful that I had a reason to travel to San Antonio for a show.
